The Original Artisan Range in Banana Split is a traditional style, eco-friendly, chalk and mineral paint.

Rich, creamy and self-priming which gives you superior coverage.

Minimal VOC content and virtually no odour.

Seal with one of our buttery waxes, Finishing Coat or Tuff Top Coat for durability.

You can create almost endless decorative effects – let your imagination loose with texture and multiple colour layers for an eclectic rustic or antiqued look or go for a sleek, smooth finish.

As with all Frenchic paints and finishes, it is UKCA and EN71-3 certified, meaning it is safe to use on children’s toys.

How to prepare:

All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from grease and other penetrating substances.

For previously painted surfaces, remove loose or flaking paint.

Clean with Sugar Soap, rinse & allow to dry, then give a light sand to ‘key’ the surface to maximise paint adherence.

How to apply Banana Split:

Stir well before using.

A minimum of 2 coats required.

Avoid painting in direct sunlight or when there’s moisture in the air.

Coverage:

A 750ml tin will provide a coat of up to 12.5m2

Coverage will vary depending on the condition and porosity of the surface.

When painting a contrasting colour to the surface, additional coats may be required to achieve the full visual effect.

Drying time:

Touch dry 1 hour

Storage and cleaning:

Clean up paint spills immediately.

Reseal tin after use.

Avoid storing paint in freezing or high temperature conditions.

Clean brush with warm, soapy water.

Chalk, clay, Titanium Dioxide, Resin, Talcum Preservative, Wax.
